How We Handle Your Information
This policy explains what Jordon Murphy Health ("we," "us") collects through jordonmurphyhealth.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information you provide to us
When you complete our quote application, request a group benefits consultation, or contact us directly, we collect what you enter: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, household size and ages, self-reported income for subsidy estimates, business details (for group benefits requests), and any notes or questions you choose to add. Our quote form also asks a general yes/no health history question to help match you to appropriate coverage; answering the optional detail field is your choice, and we ask that you keep it general rather than including sensitive medical records, diagnoses, or Social Security numbers.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site, which sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, general location, and device type. This helps us improve the site; it does not identify you personally in a way we use for outreach.
Third-party services we use
- Formspree processes and delivers form submissions (quote applications and business consultation requests) to us by email.
- Calendly powers our consultation scheduling links; if you book a call, Calendly collects the scheduling details you provide directly.
- Google Analytics provides website usage analytics, as described above.
Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy in addition to this one. We choose vendors that support secure, encrypted (HTTPS) data transmission.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to prepare and discuss coverage options with you, follow up by phone, text, or email as you've agreed to when submitting a form, and, only when you ask us to obtain a quote or move forward with enrollment, share the relevant details with the specific insurance carrier or carriers involved in that request. We do not share your information with carriers you have not asked us to work with.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal information to third parties
- Share your details with carriers or other parties outside the scope of your request
- Add you to unrelated third-party marketing lists
Text messages and calls
If you check the consent box on one of our forms, you're agreeing that we may contact you by phone, text, or email about coverage options. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling or emailing you at any time using the contact information below.
Data retention
We retain the information you submit for as long as reasonably necessary to assist you with coverage and to meet recordkeeping obligations that apply to licensed insurance advisors, after which it is deleted or de-identified unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including relying on vendors that use encrypted (HTTPS) transmission. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Our site is intended for adults seeking or arranging health coverage and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what information we have on file, request corrections, or ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing jordonmurphyhealth@gmail.com. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information under state privacy law; contact us and we'll do our best to help, though not every request can be fully honored (for example, information we're required to retain for regulatory or recordkeeping purposes).
